My sheltie has started drinking water too fast and thus would throw up regularly. I needed to change out their water bowls with ones that advertised for slowing down a dog’s drinking. Unfortunately he rejected the new bowls because of moving (rotating) disks or just too weird for him. So decided to give this one a try and immediately he started to drink from it at a controlled speed AND my baby sheltie is not afraid of it since it is very quiet. Most importantly, the bowl is shallow enough to slow their drinking. The company has not advertised it for such purpose, but it is working for my shelties!!! A winner for me and my fur babies! Best decision all around!!!
I’ve used the fountain for several years. These filters are easy to replace. My cats love the moving water.

Very easy to assemble. I like that it is clear so I can see the water level. I use it without a plug so it runs out quicker, but it charges pretty fast. My little dog liked it right away. It's nice that he always has fresh tasty water. One thing they could do better is include at least one filter and sponge with the unit. Everybody else does.
