Homerunpet Pets Water Fountain Model CF20 is equipped with a porcelain top tray(Blanc De Chine) and a UVC water pump.

No, UVC sterilization is not visible to the human eye. UVC light falls within the ultraviolet spectrum, which is beyond the range of visible light. Our eyes can perceive light in the visible spectrum, which ranges from approximately 400 to 700 nanometers. UVC light, with wavelengths below 280 nanometers, is shorter and falls outside of the visible range, making it invisible to us. Even though we cannot see UVC light, it still possesses the energy required for effective microbial sterilization.
A UVC water pump equipped with a UVC LED effectively sterilizes the water passing through it.
After the water fountain is connected to the power supply, the UVC water pump operates in cycles of two minutes of sterilization followed by two minutes of rest.
The pump has a built-in UVC LED that illuminate when the UVC LED is active. These lights can serve as a visual confirmation that the UVC LED is functioning.
